ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Business Analyst will focus on identifying business needs related to data and reporting, documenting requirements and specifications, communicating with external and internal stakeholders, and managing the process using an agile methodology. Experience working with Healthcare or Financial data is required.Responsibilities:

PRIMARY DUTIES
Work with business users, technology team, and external clients/vendors to identify and understand business needs related to data acquisition, delivery and reporting
Elicit, analyze and validate requirements, understand dependencies and perform gap analysis
Document reporting requirements and specifications, and provide to all stakeholders for approval
Coordinate closely with developers to ensure requirements are communicated and implemented
Document and provide walk-through of reporting definitions and reports/metrics to users
Work closely with business users to verify business requirements are met and assist them with testing
Become the subject matter expert as it relates to internal data needs and dependencies
Manage reporting inventory so that unused/outdated reports and metrics are removed or replaced
Adopt agile methodology, apply its principles, and train users
Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)
Assist in tracking progress of deliverables and communicating
Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT users, both, onshore and offshore

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
5 years as an IT Business Analyst focused on data management and reporting
3 years working with Healthcare or Financial data
2 years writing basic SQL Server queries
1 years using Agile methodology
Strong experience working with database and report developers
Demonstrated ability in meeting deadlines and communicating progress across projects
Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other team members and business owners
Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
Ability to understand the details but also summarize
Bachelors degree or higher
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience working with Azure DevOps, Monday.com
